Food as medicine is a main principle of Ayurveda. Whole, natural, local fresh foods are favoured, but how to simplify recipes for you and your family?
June 8 – 9 2024 | Saturday:Lunch items & Sunday:Breakfast items| 10 am – 4 pm PDST| Jaisri’s home kitchen in Surrey, BC.

Ayurveda has recognized the critical role played by food choices and food preparation in the mind/body relationship, or post-digestive effect (Vipak) resulting from the energies of our meals. Keywords are simplicity, locally sourced, freshness, lightness, and digestibility.

This program will be of interest to those new to Ayurveda seeking to achieve optimum digestion, and those familiar with Ayurveda meal planning to help refine their post-digestion, and support calm in the mind/body relationship.
You’ll receive a take-home handout booklet with guidelines and recipes.
This is an in-person, hands-on program, GuruKula style, where you’ll meet other sincere Ayurveda seekers. Bring a friend, space permitting!
